In this article, we share the itinerary of our trip through Croatia, which took place in July 2024. From Zagreb to Plitvice, Krka and Rastoke, we continued on to Dalmatia, based in Makarska, exploring Split, the Adriatic islands and Biokovo Nature Park. An itinerary balanced between nature, culture, sea and adventure, with practical tips and suggestions for those who want to discover Croatia.

Visiting Flores and Corvo is like stepping into one of the most authentic corners of the Atlantic. On Flores Island, nature shows off all its power — impressive waterfalls, hidden lagoons, fajãs shaped by time. On Corvo, the geographical smallness contrasts with the grandeur of its identity: a resilient community, a dormant volcano transformed into a lagoon, and a pace of life marked by simplicity and human closeness.

In this article, we take you on a journey through 10 unmissable beaches in the municipality of Aljezur, exploring trails, geological formations, cultural connections and the natural wealth that surrounds them.

The inspiration for this month's Quimera GPS article comes from a trip we took in May 2019 to the Médio Tejo (Middle Tagus) region. It was a memorable experience full of discoveries, so we're sharing our suggestions here for a 3-day itinerary in this area of central Portugal.
