Trekking Holidays on the Fishermen’s Trail
Rota Vicentina – Atlantic Coast of Portugal
Discover one of Europe’s most beautiful coastal routes on a guided trekking program along the Fishermen’s Trail
For 8 days, we walk along dramatic cliffs, wild beaches and traditional fishing villages, always accompanied by an experienced guide and in small groups.
An experience designed for active travelers seeking pristine nature, efficient logistical support and an authentic connection to the land.
A guided adventure along Portugal’s wildest coastline
Considered by Condé Nast Traveler as one of the six most beautiful coastal routes in the world, the Fishermen’s Trail, part of the Rota Vicentina, is an unforgettable trekking experience along the Algarve and Alentejo coastline. Over 109 km, we follow ancient paths once used by fishermen and shellfish gatherers, between the small paradise of Zambujeira do Mar and the mythical Cape St. Vincent, where land meets infinity.
The route
This program covers one of the most preserved sections of the Fishermen’s Trail, selected for its wilder nature, lower concentration of groups and limited coastal development.
The remote characteristics of this region led us to choose a logistical base in Rogil and, in the final phase of the program, in Lagos — a solution that allows us to prioritize the quality of the route and access to the most remote stages, without compromising comfort or organization.
