Crossing the Serra de Monchique
17 and 18 January | 2 stages | Alferce → Caldas → Fóia
Between deep valleys and mist-shrouded peaks, the Crossing of the Serra de Monchique invites you to discover the green heart of the Algarve. Over two days, we will walk along old rural paths and mountain trails, passing through mountain villages, cork oak forests and slopes covered with arbutus trees, until we reach the highest point in southern Portugal — Fóia (902 m). A winter trek with authentic landscapes, thermal waters, the scent of eucalyptus and the tranquil rhythm of the mountains.
