Rocha da Pena Trail

Program: This route is located between Barrocal and Serra do Caldeirão.

We will start the route in the village of Penina, where life has a different pace. We will begin climbing up to Talefe, the highest point of the route (479m). We will then continue across the plateau, where we can find a significant amount of flora characteristic of Barrocal and Serra. At the end of the route, we can enjoy a view of the south-facing escarpment.

We will also make a detour to visit the Moinhos da Rocha (Rock Mills) before returning to the starting point.
