About the event
Underground, we will take a guided tour of the Waldemar Gallery, before walking through the old mine shaft, amongst the remains of mining operations, acid ponds and landscapes shaped by industrial activity.
After lunch, we will continue with a guided tour of the Mining Museum, housed in the mine’s former power station.
An experience that combines industrial heritage, geology and the history of a community deeply connected to mining.
