Thursday, September 7th:

Individual arrival at Arcos de Valdevez

(There are direct express buses from Gare do Oriente)

Dinner at the restaurant "O Barriguinhas" in Arcos de Valdevez (not included)

Transfer to the hotel in Ponte da Barca

Friday, September 8th:

Eco-via do Vez route (15 - 20 km) / easy / linear (round trip)

Stand Up Paddle activity on the River Vez with an instructor on the River Beach of Seixal (1h)

Visit to Sistelo

Dinner at the restaurant "O Cantinho do Abade" (not included)

Saturday, September 9:

Pedestrian trail "Trilho da Lombadinha"

On this route, in the western side of the mountain complex of the Peneda and Soajo, you will experience the life of the mountain communities still present in the territory of Valdevez.

7 km / easy / circular

Visit to a centuries-old farm to taste the famous "vinhão". At Quinta da Aguiã there is an old late-medieval tower (classified as a Property of Public Interest in 1978). Owned by the same family since the 16th century. XIII and always linked to the most influential noble families in the region, it contributed to the refinement of the successive transformations operated over time.

Commented tasting of wines and regional products at "Espaço Vinhos & Sabores" in Arcos de Valdevez, with tasting of "cacharolete" (wine cocktail), sparkling wine, white wine and tapas, such as "Sopa à Lavrador", "Bolo do Tacho" with Goat Cheese, "Moira Enchanted" and Ice Cream from "Vinhão".

Transport to the hotel

Free afternoon, where you can enjoy the hotel's SPA Circuit (indoor pool, sauna and turkish bath) for 1 hour (booking required).

Sunday, September 10th:

Cornbread Workshop - Montaria

In a typically rural house, with a wood oven, fireplace, smokehouse, you'll get your hands dirty and actively participate in all stages of making cornbread.

While the bread is baking in the oven, we take a circular walk to discover the Serra de Arga (maximum 5 km), we visit the inside of a working water mill, we walk along a "levada" and pass by some natural lakes and forest.

After the walk, we return to Casa da Dona Carmen for a picnic with cornbread, local products and drinks (water, orange juice and red and white green wine).

After the Picnic, we propose a walk in the Serra de Arga, passing by the beautiful Cascata do Pincho, where we can take a dip.

Return to Ponte da Barca

Check-out at the hotel and transfer to Arcos de Valdevez
