Biokovo Nature Park
From Split we set off for the Makarska Riviera, sandwiched between the mountain range of Biokovo. We will climb the dizzying mountain road, going to the Skywalk viewpoint, at 1228m altitude. Made of glass, this boardwalk gives us the feeling that we are walking on clouds. From here we can see a magnificent panoramic view of the entire Riviera and surrounding islands. On a clear day you can even see the coast of Italy.

Saturday, July 5th:
Rastoke - Plitvice Lakes (Unesco World Heritage Site)
Visit to the village of Rastoke, one of Croatia's jewels. The Slunjcica River flows through several waterfalls, which appear to fit beneath the houses themselves.
After a picnic lunch, we will visit Plitvice Lakes National Park. This park is characterized by its dense beech forests, its 16 emerald green lakes and its majestic waterfalls. The afternoon will be dedicated to the superior lakes, on a route of approximately 6 km.
Sunday, July 6th:
Plitvice Lakes - Lower Lakes
Early in the morning, to avoid the crowds, we will visit the Lower Plitvice Lakes, where Veliki Slap is located, the highest waterfall in the park (and in all of Croatia), at 78m high.
Lunch will be a picnic in a large meadow on the shore of Lake Kozjak.
After crossing by electric boat, we will continue our walking route along the opposite side of the lake, with a different panoramic view. This stretch, as it is quieter, is where you can find a huge variety of fauna and flora.
