About the event
We will explore the French Upper Pyrenees in the GRAN BALAÏTOUS region, crossing the border to the Aragonese Pyrenees, to be dazzled by the beauty of the Blue Lakes, feel the mountain environment, on the trails and in the refuges. It will be an adventure at a leisurely pace with shorter distances so you can really enjoy every sight and moment. The adventure begins in the Ossau Valley, goes up by cable car to access the famous mountain train, Le Petit train d'Artouste, then continues on mountain trails from refuge to refuge until a well-deserved rest in the Thermal Spas of Panticosa.
This adventure is an introduction to the high mountain environment, with its landscapes and challenges. It will be divided into 2 stages allowing the change of intermediate clothes and relieving the weight of the backpack. The autonomy lasts for 5 days in the first stage, plus 2…
